Ken M. Howard
The Honorable Ken M. Howard serves as one of Hardin County’s Circuit Court Judges and was elected to this position in 2007. Prior to his election to the bench, Judge Howard served as Hardin County Attorney from 1989 until 2007. From 1982 until 1987, Judge Howard served as the Senior Assistant in the Hardin County Attorney’s office. During the period from 1980 until 1996, Judge Howard also served as a partner in four different Elizabethtown law firms. Following his appointment by Governor Brereton Jones, Judge Howard served on the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Child Support Enforcement Commission from 1995 until 1999. Judge Howard has also served on the Kentucky County Attorney’s Association Board of Directors. Judge Howard has served on numerous boards and organizations. Judge Howard received his Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville. Judge Howard is married to the former Lisa McClure and they are the parents of three children.
